Corporate culture refers to the shared values, attitudes, standards, and beliefs that characterize members of an organization and define its nature. The path to creating a culture of engagement is as hard to define as culture itself, and it is a path that has no end. When Tosca began operations in 1958, it was a much smaller company with 1 location and a handful of employees servicing 1 supply chain. Back then the concept of culture was much simpler to define and describe. Today, the thriving Tosca organization has grown to over 600 team members spread across 16 different locations, servicing 4 very different supply chains, with year over year double digit growth, and the complexities of creating company culture has grown with it. Join us for this webinar, in which Mike Wasson with Tosca will share some of their lessons and best practices learned from this journey, which are applicable no matter the size or complexity of your company, or of the role you play in your organization. In fact, Tosca’s success in sharing and living company values was recently recognized by the Atlanta Journal Constitution as one of the 2018 Top Workplaces in Atlanta. Join our webinar to learn more about what makes Tosca a special place to work.

Mastering DIRECT Project Leadership for Supply Chain Professionals

FREE to register

Featuring Daniel Stanton President & Co-Founder, SecureMarking Author, Supply Chain Management for Dummies Moderated by Scott W. Luton, CSCP, LSSGB Staff Member, APICS Southeast District Inarguably, supply chains need to constantly adapt. One way we manage these changes is with projects. That means supply chain managers need to become experts at leading projects. The DIRECT approach is a simple but comprehensive system for managing the issues that leaders need to address in order to ensure their cross-functional projects are successful. In this live podcast, we’ll dig deeper into how to use the DIRECT approach, building on an article from the July / August issue of APICS Magazine. We’ll also dig into current hot topics in supply chain: counterfeiting, the supply chain workforce crisis, disruptive innovation, and the role of supply chains in supporting response and recovery from hurricanes and other disasters. About the presenter: Daniel Stanton is an executive, educator, and entrepreneur with a passion for supply chains and project management. His new book, Supply Chain Management for Dummies goes on sale November 13. Stanton is president and co-founder of SecureMarking, a new startup company that leverages nanotechnology, IoT, and blockchains to address the urgent challenge of supply chain security. In the past year he has also launched two courses for LinkedIn Learning that have been viewed over 300,000 times, and has had articles published in APICS Magazine and Supply Chain Management Review. Daniel earned a master of engineering degree in logistics from MIT, is a doctoral researcher at Cranfield University, and holds several industry certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and SCPro.
