Interview with Lennie Mize

Lennie Mize is an adjunct professor in the Department of Management Science at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. With over 35 years of experience in manufacturing excellence, he has held roles such as Master Scheduler at Select Comfort, Value Stream Planner at Worthington Industries, and Senior Buyer at ESAB Cutting and Welding. Mize is recognized for implementing lean systems that significantly reduced inventory levels and improved operational efficiency. He is an APICS Master CPIM Instructor, Master CSCP Instructor, and Lead Train-the-Trainer Instructor. At the Darla Moore School, he pioneered the integration of CPIM certification into the Global Supply Chain degree program, achieving an almost 100% pass rate among students.
